Jackson Memorial Library Mission
The Jackson Memorial Library is a gateway to knowledge, nature and community, serving the St. George, Maine area since 1935. A nonprofit organization, its mission is to serve as a hub for community, creativity and learning. It provides a welcoming and comfortable public space for social interaction, civic engagement and quiet study.
Some of the library’s services are available even when the library is closed, including free high speed Wifi available outdoors on library property and access to online library services from anywhere in the world.
In addition to a wide selection of books for adults, teens, and children, Jackson Memorial Library offers many other services and items that may be borrowed. Visit the front desk to learn about the following:
